Determination of the toxic effect of sediment and soil on the growth behaviour of Myriophyllum aquaticum (parrot feather).
Abstract
Myriophyllum aquaticum whorls are exposed to the test samples over a period of 10 days. For determination of the growth inhibition the whorls are weighed at the beginning and at the end of the exposure time. The phytotoxic effects are quantified as growth inhibition (%) relative to the control group.
